Self-tape coaching from a working actor

Nonotes.

The two words every actor wants back from their agent. I'll help you tape so that's what you hear.

Booked.

Every job below started as an audition. Getting from audition to booking is what I teach.

Television

Recurring and guest roles across US network, cable and streaming, and the BBC. Scenes where the tape has to show you understand the tone of the show before you've said a line.

The Middle · Criminal Minds · Platonic · Shameless · NCIS · The Mentalist · Torchwood

Commercials

National campaigns, where you get seconds on a slate and one take to land a brand's tone. The fastest, harshest training in how casting decides.

Progressive · Audi · KFC · Old Spice · Dr Pepper · Southwest · Chevy · Walmart · Uber Eats · DraftKings

From sides to send

Most tapes don't miss on talent. They miss on choices, and on the small craft decisions that tell a casting director they can relax. This works for TV, film and commercial tapes alike.

  1. 01 / SEND

    Your sides

Upload the scenes and the brief. I read them before we meet.

  2. 02 / BREAK IT DOWN

    Find the choice

Objective, stakes, and the one specific choice that makes the scene yours.

  3. 03 / TAPE

    Takes on camera

We run it live. Frame, eyeline, reader, pace. You record at home as we go.

  4. 04 / NOTES

    Pick and send

We choose the take, trim the slate, and it goes to your agent on time.

AGENT

(after watching the tape)

There are levels to acting and taping. The level this exists at is not taught anywhere. It makes our job as agents easy when we see someone do it in such a way that it's like, I've got no notes.

Your coach

Will Green

I'm an American actor based in the UK. I've spent the proverbial 10,000 hours in audition rooms: over a decade of TV casting, with recurring roles on The Middle and Criminal Minds and work on Platonic, Shameless and Torchwood, plus national commercial campaigns for brands like Progressive, Audi, KFC and Old Spice.

Commercial casting is fast. You get seconds on a slate and one take to land a tone. Hundreds of those rooms taught me exactly what a casting director is looking for, and how quickly they decide.

I trained at CalArts (MFA), I'm a member of both SAG-AFTRA and Equity, and I'm still auditioning on both sides of the Atlantic. What I teach is what I do: read the scene for what it needs, make one clear choice, and deliver a tape that's tight and easy to watch.

Questions

What do I need at home?

A phone or camera, a plain backdrop, a window or a light, and a laptop for the video call. We'll sort the frame in the first five minutes.

Do you coach commercial auditions?

Yes. Commercial tapes are their own skill: the slate, the profiles, the improv, hitting a brand tone in one take. I've booked national campaigns for Progressive, Audi, KFC and Old Spice, and I coach commercial tapes the same way I tape them.

Can you read in for me?

Yes, during a session I read the other parts while you record. I don't offer reader-only bookings.

Do you coach American accents?

No. I coach the scene and the tape. If a role needs dialect work, I'll point you to a dialect coach.

What if my audition comes in late at night?

Book the next open slot, or send a finished tape for Tape Notes. I turn those around within 24 hours.

What's your cancellation policy?

Reschedule free from your confirmation email, up to 24 hours before. If no new time works, cancel by then for a full refund. As a working actor my own castings can occasionally move a session; if that happens you choose a new time or get a full refund.

Are my sides kept private?

Always. Scripts and tapes are never shared, and copies are deleted within 30 days.

Got a tape due?

Every open slot is live. Book it, pay, and you'll get your video link and a prep checklist straight away. No waiting for a reply.
